The Inspirational Person of the Month for February is Amanda Garrison, Social Worker at North Mac and Tri-City.  Amanda does a wonderful job presenting during meetings in a way that helps parents and students feel heard and comfortable.  She goes above and beyond to meet with students and consult with adults in the schools even when time is short.  You can tell that Amanda’s students enjoy meeting with her, and they will ask about her if they have not seen her for a while.  She has a calming presence and lends an ear any time people ask.  Amanda is organized and even created a schedule of available rooms for one of her districts that has been very helpful for staff who need to meet with students and want a private, quiet space.  It is evident when working with Amanda that she truly loves being a social worker. Amanda is a tremendous asset to SASED.  Congratulations Amanda!!!!
